If you’ve never heard of Catan ( where have you been), it's a game where you are an adventurous settler seeking to tame the remote but rich isle of Catan. If not, take a look at those titles if the £35+ sticker price puts you off. However, if you already have those titles (you probably do), this is a must-have. It is definitely more expensive than many of the other highly rated games out there: Pandemic, Codenames, Sushi Go, etc. In the short time that we've gotten it, we have played it over 20 times. The components are high quality and will stand more than 100 replays.
The gameplay itself can be played in less than 40 minutes. The rules are few and simple and can be taught in less than 5 minutes. This is probably the best entry level (in terms of complexity) game that you can play with the widest range of players!
